Had an amazing time ringing the new year at a hotel in the countryside near Brussels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cozy and comfortable room had a large bed that made sleeping a dream. The breakfast was continental, and the fresh bread, fruit, and cheese were delicious. We enjoyed taking a walk in the farmland and visiting the two local castles. The location is perfect for those looking for an escape from the bustle of Brussels while still being close enough to reach it easily.
The walls and floor were a bit thin, which meant we could hear some noise from other guests. , it would have been nice if the clock on the TV worked all the time.

the hotel had free and easy parking, and the connected tavern had good homemade food. the continental breakfast had fresh bread, ham, cheese, and fruits. the room had a private phone number, quality flat TV, spacious and comfortable bed, and there was a nice farmland and castles nearby to enjoy a walk.
There were no proper curtains, only blackouts, which was not great for a light sleeper like myself.

We recently stayed at a small family-run hotel just outside of Brussels for a romantic escape. the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by beautiful countryside with charming animals grazing nearby. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a large, cozy bed perfect for snuggling up together. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast served each morning with delicious fresh bread and pastries, a great way to start the day.
The main downside of the hotel was the lack of sound insulation in the rooms. We could hear the footsteps of other guests and noise from the communal areas, which disrupted the romantic atmosphere at times.
